Q: Can I work part time?
A: No. We don’t hire part timers.
Q: I have no experience. Can I apply?
A: Yes, provided that you have required skills for any position you are interested in. We recommend you to apply for the position, Internet Researcher.
Q: I can work 40 hours per week. But I can work only on 3 weekdays and the rest I will work during weekend. Is it possible?
A: No. You should work a minimum of 8 hours on each weekday.
Q: Can I work all 7 days?
A: Yes, but only if there will be extra work and only if your manager agrees. We do not promise to provide extra work in addition to a minimum 40 hours a week.
Q: I have an infant. Can I work on my own time table so that I can attend to my baby whenever I want?
A: You should provide us a time table before commencing work. You can define your own time table, but preferably a time table that is in line with your managers, especially during your probation period. And you should stick to your time table once agreed on it. Constant distraction will affect the smooth flow of work.
Q:I am a Sri Lankan living in UK. Can I work for your company?
A: We hire people only those who live in the USA, Canada, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and India.
Q: I am an undergraduate. I have lectures only in the weekend. Can I apply to work for your company?
A: Yes
Q: I am 65 years old retired secretary. Can I apply for a position?
A: Yes. Provided that you have hands on experience on IT and internet. Anyone above 20 years can apply if they have required skills.
Q: I am planning to read for a masters degree from next month. Can I work full time for you until I finish my degree.
A: Yes. Only if you can work full time for us and only if you have long term plans of working for us. We are not looking for people who are looking to bridge a gap.
Q: I have worked for Ekwalabs once. Can I join again?
A: It is at management’s discretion. Apply and see.
Q: Can I apply for a job which is not open?
A: Yes. But we cannot tell you when we will have an opening.
Q: How do you pay me?
A: Our payments are based on hourly rates. Any employee should work a minimum of 160 hours a month (40 hours a week/8 hours a day). However, payments for the number of hours worked by you will be remitted to your bank account at the end of every month.
